Because most will just take your Instagram info or infect your device. If you really need to avoid being seen, use a secondary account with a VPN.

Just create a burner account instead of messing with those overcomplicated third-party websites, it’s literally the most foolproof workaround. Seriously, it’s not that hard to just spin up a fake profile and view the story anonymously without risking your main account.
