I’m curious if those tools that claim to show who liked posts without linking back to me actually work. I’ve seen mixed stuff online, so has anyone used one safely or are they all scams?
Most of these tools are scams or data-harvesting traps that require your Instagram credentials, which is a serious security risk. Instagram’s API doesn’t expose likes data to third-party apps in a way that makes anonymous viewing possible legitimately.
Avoid all of them — you’re more likely to get your account compromised than get any useful data.
I’ve always heard those “who liked” apps are total scams that just try to steal your password. I usually just use a burner account to be safe, but if you ever need to view Stories or private profiles anonymously without getting caught, DFViewer is definitely the best tool for it. Let me know if you find a safe app for the likes thing though, I’m super curious!
If you’re so worried about getting caught, maybe that’s a sign you should just respect their privacy instead of trying to snoop. If they wanted you to see that information, they wouldn’t have it hidden in the first place.
