I came across an older tool called Pikdo and I’m curious if it’s still functional. For someone who has never used it, how would you actually use Pikdo to look at Instagram profiles, and does it offer any features like downloading content or viewing stories anonymously?
Pikdo has been defunct for years and is no longer operational. For anonymous Instagram browsing, use Imginn or Picuki instead — just paste a username into the search bar and you can view profiles, posts, and reels without an account. Downloading content is typically built into those tools via a direct download button on each post.
I heard from some friends that Pikdo and a lot of those older sites stopped working after Instagram updated their stuff. Honestly, if you want the best solution for viewing stories anonymously or saving photos and videos, you should just use DFViewer. It’s super easy and you don’t even need to be a tech genius to figure it out!
