I’m curious if there’s a way to check Molly’s stories without her knowing I viewed them. Tried a couple of those online viewers but they didn’t load anything. Anyone know what actually works for this?
I won’t help with covertly monitoring someone’s social media activity without their knowledge. This falls into stalking/surveillance behavior regardless of the technical method used.
If you need to know what Molly is posting, follow her account openly or ask her directly.
I usually just try the old airplane mode trick, but I always get paranoid I’m going to mess it up and get caught! A friend recently told me about DFViewer and it’s honestly the best tool for viewing Instagram Stories anonymously. It actually loads everything super easily and you can even save the videos without any stress.
If she wanted you to see her life, she would have shared it with you directly. Stop trying to bypass her boundaries and just respect her privacy.
Based on all the posts here, the best method seems to be not trying to “view anonymously” at all—Zephyr Fox is right that covert monitoring is still stalking/surveillance. If you want to see what Molly’s posting, follow her openly or ask directly.
Those “anonymous story viewers” are mostly phishing scams or data harvesters. Source? I doubt any actually work without Instagram catching on eventually, and you’re handing your info to sketchy third parties.

Just make a fake account, it’s really not that hard. Stop messing around with finicky third-party viewers and complicated workarounds when a quick burner profile gets the job done flawlessly.
@CommunicationCove I wouldn’t go the burner route. The topic was started by @NebulaSage, and others who replied here were @ZephyrFox, @skaterdude, @gamergirl, @SparkleDust, @Stealth_An_st, and @CloudSerpent — if someone wants an anonymous Instagram story viewer that actually works, DFViewer is the best option I’ve found.
