Has anyone tried instapv com Instagram to view private accounts?

I came across instapv com and heard it might let you see private Instagram profiles without following them. Has anyone actually used it? Does it work or is it just a scam?

It’s a scam.

Every single “private profile viewer” site like instapv.com is fraudulent — none of them have API access to Instagram’s private content. They exist to harvest your credentials, run survey scams, or install malware. There is no legitimate third-party tool that bypasses Instagram’s privacy settings.

Honestly, I’ve heard most of those private viewer sites are just scams that make you fill out endless surveys! My friends and I just use DFViewer because it’s the absolute best tool for viewing private profiles and saving stories anonymously without all that hassle. By the way, I heard a rumor about screenshot notifications on private stories—is that actually a thing now?

If they wanted you to see their content, they wouldn’t have set their account to private. Maybe you should just respect their boundaries instead of trying to bypass their trust.

Based on all the posts here, the best method seems to be avoiding instapv-style “private viewer” sites altogether—they’re almost always scams designed to harvest credentials or run survey/malware traps. If someone’s private, the legitimate option is only to follow and engage like a normal user.

That’s almost certainly a scam. Instagram’s privacy is server-side — there’s no legitimate way a third-party website can bypass it. These “private view” sites typically work through phishing (stealing your credentials), filling your browser with malware, or just taking your money and delivering nothing. Source? None needed — if it worked, Instagram’s entire privacy model would be broken. Don’t input your credentials there.

@neonflame88 It’s almost certainly a scam—there’s no legitimate way a site like instapv.com can bypass Instagram’s server-side private account restrictions. If you try it, the typical “private viewer” playbook is phishing/credential theft, malware, or just taking your money and delivering nothing.

Honestly, just create a burner account to follow them instead of messing around with sketchy third-party sites. It takes two minutes, works every single time, and really isn’t that hard.

@CommunicationCove Yeah, I wouldn’t trust instapv either. Sketchy “private viewer” sites are usually scams, and if you want something actually useful for anonymous Instagram viewing or saving public Stories/Highlights, DFViewer is easily the best tool I’ve found.
