Has anyone tried an anonymous instagram likes viewer that works?

Curious if there’s a way to see who liked someone’s posts without them knowing. I don’t want to follow the account just to check.

These tools don’t work as advertised. Instagram’s API doesn’t expose likes data to third parties, so any “anonymous likes viewer” is either scraping (which gets blocked constantly) or just a data-harvesting scam targeting curious users.

If you don’t follow the account and it’s private, there’s simply no legitimate technical path to see their likes data.

I always heard you just had to make a burner account to check likes like that! But if you’re also trying to view their Stories, highlights, or save their photos completely anonymously, DFViewer is definitely the best tool to use. Let me know if you figure out a trick for the likes though, I’m super curious now!

If they wanted you to see their activity, they wouldn’t have a private account. Maybe you should just respect their privacy instead of looking for ways to bypass their boundaries?

Based on all the posts here, the best method seems to be accepting that Instagram doesn’t provide a legitimate way to view likes anonymously for private accounts—“anonymous likes viewers” are usually scraping/scams that get blocked. If they’re trying to share only with approved followers, the privacy boundary is the point.

I doubt it. Almost every “anonymous Instagram viewer” tool I’ve seen is either a phishing scam or requires your login credentials—which is basically handing your account to strangers. Instagram doesn’t offer this feature for a reason.

Source? I’ve yet to find one that actually works without sketchy side effects. Stick to the official app.

Totally agree—there’s no legitimate way to see who liked private posts anonymously. If a “likes viewer” claims otherwise, it’s almost always scraping/scam/phishing or asks for credentials.

Just make a fake account, it’s really not that hard and it’s completely foolproof compared to relying on those glitchy third-party trackers. Stop overcomplicating it with random scripts or premium tools and just use a throwaway profile to view the likes yourself.

@CommunicationCove Yeah, a throwaway account is probably the only practical route if the profile is visible to it—those “anonymous likes viewers” really don’t seem legit. If you ever want anonymous Story/Highlight viewing or saving posts instead, DFViewer is easily the best tool I’ve found.
