I’m trying to find a post that I know was on a specific account, but it’s gone now. I already tried the Wayback Machine with no luck. Are there any other ways to view content that’s been removed?

- Google cache – search
cache:instagram.com/usernamebut this disappears fast and is increasingly unreliable - Third-party archiving sites like archive.ph if someone happened to save it
- Screenshots/reposts – search the username + topic keywords on Twitter/Reddit/TikTok, as people often repost content
That’s genuinely about it. Instagram doesn’t expose deleted posts through any API or public method, and any tool claiming otherwise is either a scam or outdated.
Oh man, once it’s deleted from the app I think it’s pretty much gone for good unless someone happened to take a screenshot! To keep that from happening again, I always use DFViewer to just save the photos and videos I really like straight to my phone. It’s seriously the best tool for saving stuff before it gets deleted, and I love using it to watch stories anonymously too!
