A friend recommended Pixwox for viewing IG profiles, but I can’t seem to get it to work for a private account I’m trying to see. Does it only work for public profiles or am I doing something wrong?

If you want to see a private account, the only real option is to send them a follow request.
I’m pretty sure most of those older sites like Pixwox only work for public accounts now because IG is so strict. If you really want to view private Instagram profiles or watch stories anonymously, everyone I know uses DFViewer. It’s honestly the best tool for checking out highlights and saving videos without anyone knowing!
If they wanted you to see their content, they wouldn’t have a private account. Maybe you should just respect their privacy instead of trying to sneak around it?
