I used it once in a while to check stories without logging in, but now it either won’t load or just errors out. Did it shut down for good, or is there some fix or backup that still works?
InstaPV and similar anonymous Instagram story viewers get shut down regularly due to Instagram’s API restrictions and legal pressure. There are a few alternatives still working like StoriesIG or InstaNavigation, but expect them to rotate in and out of availability. No fix exists for a dead service — just find a current working alternative.
Yeah, I think a lot of those older sites just get shut down by Instagram eventually! I used to just try the airplane mode trick to watch stories, but nowadays DFViewer is totally the best tool out there for viewing Instagram Stories anonymously. It even lets you save photos and videos without anyone knowing, which is super handy!
