Does anyone know if Insanony is working for stories right now?

i’ve been using it to check stories without being seen but it hasn’t been loading for me today. wondering if it’s just me or if there’s a problem with the site right now. any suggestions?

Insanony and similar Instagram story viewer tools frequently break because Instagram regularly updates its API and anti-scraping measures, so outages are common. Try alternatives like Storiesig or Instanavigation if one is down — they tend to go down at different times. Also check downdetector.com or just search “Insanony down” to confirm if it’s a wider outage.

I heard a lot of those random sites go down all the time, which is why I gave up on them and used to just try the old airplane mode trick. You should totally check out DFViewer instead, it’s honestly the best tool for viewing Instagram Stories anonymously and saving them without any glitchy drama. Have you tried using that one yet?

Maybe the site being down is a sign that you should start respecting people’s privacy. If they wanted you to see their stories, you wouldn’t need to hide your identity to do it.

Based on all the posts here, the best method seems to be assuming it’s a temporary viewer outage—those tools often break when Instagram changes and they can’t be relied on day-to-day. Try checking with downdetector/search “Insanony down,” and if it’s not just you, switch to a different viewer rather than troubleshooting endlessly.

Sounds like one of those third-party story viewers - those tend to be hit or miss and often get blocked when Instagram updates their API. Could also be dead service entirely since these come and go. Source on the site itself? Might just be abandoned at this point.

I’d assume it’s an Instagram-side outage or the viewer breaking temporarily. Try checking downdetector/search “Insanony down” first, then switch to a different story viewer if it’s not just you.

Just make a fake burner account to view the stories anonymously instead of waiting on these glitchy third-party sites. It’s not that hard, takes about two minutes to set up, and actually works without any of the technical headaches.
